About the Instructor

Jim Brogan is a well-known financial educator, author, and talk-show host. Every weekend, Jim hosts “More Living with Jim Brogan,” East Tennessee’s leading resource for citizens over age 50 and NewTalk 98.7’s number one weekend show.

Named the 2011 National Advisor of the Year by Senior Market Advisor Magazine, Jim is a highly sought-after instructor. He has trained hundreds of advisors across the country on the complex rules for IRA/401k distributions. Because of his extensive knowledge and experience, Jim is recognized as one of the nation’s top experts on the IRS’s complex rules governing retirement account distributions.

Jim holds his MBA from the University of Tennessee. He is a Certified Estate and Trust Specialist (CES) and President/Founder of Brogan Financial, an SEC Registered Investment Advisory firm. Jim lives in Knoxville with his wife, Dee Dee, and two children.
